Being fairly new to the T25 scene I seem to be having a baptism of fire (somewhat self inflicted I guess)

Shelly as she is now called has survived the buzzer of doom, it was only baked wiring shorting out, and set out to conquor the Alps. Having managed to follow in Hannibals footsteps, she is now back in Scotland refusing to stay in 4th Gear. It started somewhere on the Italian Riviera and as its a long way back in 3rd gear my daughter has asked me to fix it before she sets off on another adventure.

Basically the gears are a bit difficult to find and so armed with my Haines manual and previous advice from similar threads I am about to check out the linkages.

Question is for you who know these things is driving round at 50mph max in 3rd gear advisable as a short term expediency and is Aiden planning a huge discount sale to promote his new premises?

The 4th gear issue is -- doesn't appear to go right into gear and springs back with crunching noises straight away -
Also where are the gearbox codes usually marked?
