fridge zig rm12 problem

Hi

Just reconnected my 2 way fridge after taking it out of the van, while i carried out a load of welding in the later part of the year. now id does not seem to be working off the 12 power supply, i disconnected the batteryetc whilst carring out the welding, every thing has gone back in the same. I no the relay only kicks in when you start the engine, im shore a used to be able to hear it click on and off if i took the negative off where it connects up to the battery.

Could the welding have damaged it, no fuses are blown and i connect a 12 bulb diagonaly across the fuses on top of the relay housing it lights up, so could the relay be at fault.

We go to cornwall in a week, so its great timing.
