I'm stuck in Dorset with a rapidly discharginging battery.
I have alternator light (ignition on, not running). When shorting D+ to earth I have the light.
I have checked continuity between alternator and battery and get 0 ohm reading.
My multimetre can't get a voltage output reading as it's display goes mad anywhere near the engine bay.
Battery voltage is 11.6v
I'm thinking dead alternator (which is newish).
Any ideas?
