Hi, my girlfriend and I are heading up to Aberdeen for the highland games in August, we're going to take our time getting up there, leaving on the tues/weds and probably back around the following friday. We're looking for decent campsites along the way to break up the journey and that have some good sights to see, good scenery etc. I've just wired a mains hook-up and a leisure battery so looking for sites with mains but not essential. Any help would be awesome...
Thanks
From Northampton to Aberdeen

You should be able to find some quiet wild spots when you get to either the Lakes or in Scotland. I remember parking up somewhere near New Lanark Racecourse for a few days.
