Cable routing

Hi, i'm after some advice on routing cables. Is it possible to route cables up the B or C posts so I can fit LED lights? I've tried but they seem to be blocked.The only cables that are up in the roof at the moment are for the courtesy lights which seem to go down the A post ? Any help would be appreciated. I 'm converting an 81 Aircooled bus to a camper, just finnished fitting a devon poptop, got myself a westy kitchen block and a Zig cf9, ive fitted 240v mains just need to sort lighting and wire up leisure battery/zig unit then I should be ready to go

Forgot to mention I have a full width bed so i havent got a wardrobe to run the cables up through

you can get up the b pillar. if you open the cab door you can use the heater duct as it helps. i got 4x twin 13 amp cables up it and a set of triple rca jacks.

Use proper grommets in any holes to reduce the chance of any chafing and shorts.

The autohomes leisure electrics go up the 'C' pillar. Regardless of which pillar you use (using both would give you more capacity) pull a draw wire through first, attach all the cables to it (staggered so the there's a gentle increase in width) and pull them through all at once. Very fiddly though and small fingers are a must; it's not the pillars themselves that are thin, it's the entrance and exit points that prove the problem.

Brill, thanks for the replys, i'm going to have a go this morning and see if I can get the cables through. I was worried i might have to use some sort of trunking

Not sure if its relevant here but with brief experience as a sparky, difficult paths can sometimes be traversed by running a length of reasonably flexible tubing through first. Doesn't always work but sometimes easier to grab hold of than the end of a cable. You can either feed cable through tubing (if big enough) or attach cable to end of tubing and pull through. Coat hanger wire another possibility.
