Evostick alternative

Post by Threescoops »

Hi there

was just wondering if anyone knows of a cheaper alternative to evostick and where i can get it (could do to be able to get it tomorrow rather than order online)? I have read the WIKI and the ones mentioned on there dont seem to be readily available in the shops!

i want it for gluing the carpet in the hi-top.

thanks :)

Got any weetabix....mix to a smooth paste......smear liberally on carpet......apply carpet to high top....allow to dry.....

weetabix needs half hour to soak off a breakfast bowl...should be good for sticking carpet!

:rofl

You can buy HD Impact adhesive for carpets and soundproofing from Camper & VW shows , the traders. Carpet fitters can get it for too invery large tubs ((5 & 15 litres?).. and Frosts do it too.

Remember, that it's fumes are highly toxic, so fully ventilated area (& keep takinga breather outside) or breathing equipment (seen Aussie carpet fitters with such, Brit ones don't seem to know let alone use such things)
