Hi,
When I have my T25 idling and the air blower control turned to 0 no air comes out of the main blower, however when i start driving luke warm air continually blows out of the lower front vents, which results in fume filled long journeys. Is this an issue with the blower switch or some thing else......any help would be great

Is this an Aircooled engine? (consults crystal ball) If so, check heat exchangers as they're probably being left open. Do try to update your profile as we'll have a better understanding of what model you have. Welcome.

Re: Heater blower wont turn off
Check the operation of the vent sliders. look behind to see what they are pulling. I usually have the vent directed to the side blowers then close them off to prevent unwanted air. Shouldn't be fumes apart from exhaust from other vehicles as air is coming in from front grill. If the air is still warm then the hater valve is probably stuck open do a search on the forum someone had a similar problem recently.

Re: Heater blower wont turn off
yea i have taken to taping over the lower vents which does help...its the Caravelle GL so there are a few different vent sliders but none really make a difference. After fixing a coolant leak & bleeding the system during the winter all i could get out of the blower was cold air so my local mechanic "fixed it" but now it seems i only get warm air. any idea how i check this heater valve -the other forum enter just takled about their water pump

Re: Heater blower wont turn off
The valve is above the spare wheel. Get someone to watch as the heater control lever is moved from side to side and see if it moves the valve open and shut fully. If it does and you still get warm air then the valve is most likely worn internally and will need repalcing. If the valve soesn't open and close when the lever is moved from side to side either the cable has come adrift at either end or there is a kink in it.

The vent controls can become detached but its a dashboard off job to see if alls well.
