New headlight advice

Post by centro »

I want to replace the passenger site headlight as it is very rusty! . Any suggestions on who I should buy from? I would like to do the job myself. Is this something a novice can do and is there any legal stuff I need to do like alignment?

The light unit is just screwed to the mounting frame by 3 small screws. No re-adjustment needed

Buy a cheap round H4 Hella light 2nd hand from ebay or put a wanted on here and throw that one in a skip

Nice one. Will put a request in Wanted, and keep an eye on ebay. Cheers.

Cheers

VW Heritage have Hella lights, both sealed and semi sealed. Quite a good price I thought - I just converted mt Beetle to the semi-sealed type :-)
