Post by Hacksawbob »

I've probably got a dodgy starter motor. can someone confirm that if i connect the thick wire going to the solenoid from the battery to the litlle wire going from the solenoid to the starter it should whir into life?

If the starter is ok bridging the 2 will make it start. Also check the earth lead between body and gearbox is ok.
