Replacement Westfahlia Roof Canvas advice

Post by djohughes30 »

Anyone got any thoughts/advice on the best replacement of my roof canvas on a 1988 Westfahlia? I know JK do them; any reviews welcome. Thanks.

I have a JK one and couldn't get it to fit very well but that might just be me being inept. Also, the zip on the front 'window' failed but then that often happens with zips. i can't really give it a good review but I can't compare it to another make either as the canvas was already shot when i bought the roof. When shopping around for a replacement, JK came out cheapest but maybe you get what you pay for.

I'M on the same hunt, and from all accounts the Go Westy selection are the better ones; they have a range from basic through to synthetic ones, which is what we are probably going to go for.

WHS^^^

Get the best you can afford. I had a nosey around a couple of Gunzle
Ones over the weekend and the quality is superb. Apparently they are laser cut and come from the same
Factory as the new t5 ones come from.

I've got a GoWesty synthetic canvas and I think it's excellent quality, though I'm sure Gunzl is top too.
