Flue on 3 way fridge

Post by miggs »

Right dilema

I have a twin slider and im putting in a camping interior and a 3 way fridge now can i vent the fridge with some metal flexible pipe to the rear quarter so i dont have to drill the door

And also do i have to place a hole in the floor behind the rear of the fridge to vent it if the gas leaks

cheers

If you knoww your way around then it can be done very discreetly through the B post, still need the gas drop out hole though

No it was on a van i done a few years ago, but had the fridge in a small unit with hob and sink on top and this was on the n/s twin slider van) and I routed the flue through the B post and fitted the vertical external electrolux vent cover thingy it fitted in the upper swage and really looked like it was meant to be,I did make an adaptor so that the part that was inside /going through the b post was permanent fixed in and the flexi metal fridge flue inseted into this, worked perfect, then if unit wasnt wanted (works type van stuff etc then the unit would unclip of the floor and away,

I have the picks on 35mm, yes real wet film , trouble is there are thousands from past years and no idea where to start looking but its dead easy to do,
anyhow this is a picky of a slightly cut plaggy electrolux cover mounted on its side, there is a top cover on the flue outlet to prevent water ingress.

you could easy mount this on the B post or make a custom ally one up, which is what I would do next time.
