Brake fluid leak under dash (switch)

Post by langb20 »

Usual suspect, plenty of topics on this - checked brake master cylinder, clutch master cylinder all ok, leak turned out to be the actual brake switch itself! coming out of one (or all) of the contacts

I know it looks a bit haphazard with the connectors but I didn't know there were 3-pin and 2-pin types when I ordered one last time (only 4-5 months ago), but the lights do come on when required. just gotta order a new 2-pin one now (from VW heritage this time)
