T25 Steering Lock bearing

Post by Arby »

Can any-one tell me if its possible to get a replacement bearing for the top of the steering lock housing and possibly the spacer, my T25 has an advisory on the upper steering bearing, and as the ignition switch needs sorting it seems like a good time to change things, but I was wondering if it was possible to just replace the bearing?

upper steering bearing,
is that really what the fail sheet says? usually it says something like excessive play in steering or similar. Just cos its not like them to be so specific in an MOT fail. The only reason I say that is because play in steering can be caused elsewhere. N
