Strong gas struts for Devon pop top

I've made and fitted a roof rack to my pop top yesterday, however now the roof is too heavy for the struts. They weren't the strongest anyway, so i imagine that they were tired.

Is there any that are a retro fit but stronger, so i don't have to resort to my piece of wood anymore?
