Why???
Right. Just replaced my wiper motor with a brand spanking new one. The wipers want to move but don't. I am guessing the reason the old motor blew is still a problem. Any ideas? could it be gummed up mechanism? Relay was replaced as well so don't think it was that.
Cheers
Rob.

Re: Why???
I bet you wish you'd given them a wiggle when it was all out - done the washer pipes too?
Why didn't it blow the fuse then?

Re: Why???
Nope will do now. Will put a one way valve in as well. They take an age to work otherwise.

Re: Why???
What do you mean 307 washers? I got mechanism out and ns spindle is seized. Getting it out is a b&stard. Putting it back is going to be fun.
Cheers

Re: Why???
peugeot 307 washer jets fit. they are the fan type. i find them much better than the std ones. cheap too.
if you get problems with the dealer ordering them just note down a numberplate of a 307 and use that for them to referance.
worked for me.

Re: Why???
i have just peplaced the blower fan and did the wiper seens i was in there. new one was so noisey i put the old one back..but because you had best disconnect the battery it was all back before the power was back on,that when i found it noisey. but with a 10mm ratchett spanner its not a problem to do it dash in place(LHD).just a bit of a fiddle!!!! one screw below the windscreen another that holds the mounting bracket and it pulls forward just enough
i got it off to a bit of an art as undoing the spindle nut was so tight the it moved the wipers across the screen, not until i put it back did i realise the you need to time the wipers stroke back again ..wiper arms were all over the place as i removed and replaced over and over until the penny dropped (bently assisted)

in too deep to quit now....

Re: Why???
thses look to have a smaller footprint than the origionals(35mm) which is no problem unless its been painted at some point..people tend to just mask them...i had this prob when i bought the triple upgrade kit from ebay(25mm)..expensive...nice ...but an a*** if you need to hide the old print left behind...lee.. wrote:307 jets all the same i think. think reg i used was 2002.
