places to park up

Hi all

Setting off in an hour from Livingston for the vans first trip coming back Sunday (either on own steam or on the back of a trailer :))

going to head down the east coast turning off the A1 at Dunbar

can anyone suggest any good places to camp overnight

hi just down the road about15 miles a great over nite spot is coldingham bay you can stay in the carpark and great views hope this helps.

well i went to coldingham on friday and ended up staying till sunday great wee place I used to go there when you were allowed to tent it. :ok

we van went well but I have discovered she overheats (fan not working) will have to get it sorted sooner rather than later but just kept her topped up with antifreeze

glad you enjoyed your first outing martin. Over heating, is that all? you lucky chap.
T25 1985-19D water cooled. owned her for three years now. On second engine, VW Caddy 19diesel.

did quite a bit before i went like changing the decayed water pipes and changing the heat exchange pipes from the exhaust but so glad that was my only problem on my first trip, totally hooked now want to go more places and meet fellow t25 nuts :rofl

going in for a full service on wednesday so hopefully they wont find too many things wrong with her and if they do well the wee wummin will just have to go without her choccies and flowers :wink: will put some pics up of ma trip if your allowed to do it on here
