listing/leaning/lob sided/wonky van...

Hi folks,
I've tried searching the forums for a listing/leaning/lob sided van, but no matter what term I used I couldn't find the right kind of thread.. so I'm asking here.
My van seems to dress to the right if you know what I mean, it's lower on the drivers side, compared to the near side..
I've always put it down to the weight of the interior on the drivers side, but I've seen plenty of vans now with heavier interiors that sit perfectly square to the ground.
Having just had a £500 MOT for rear bearings, shaft splines, steering rack bit and something else.. oh and labour - I'd like to see if I can solve this one myself.

So any suggestions for diagnosing the problem?

Thanks for the link I'll check it out today.

I measured the height from road to bottom of the front indicators and there's a difference of 3cm between left and right sides. Drivers side being the lower one. Same difference, same side at the back too. I should say I'm not carrying any water, the 9mm mdf cupboards are only waist height and virtually empty, there's a battery in one cupboard but under the RnR bed there's a full awning which should balance that out.

Ok the tarmac might have dropped/risen by 1cm maybe, but I'm wondering if it's like male knackers, you know, always one side lower than the other "it's normal".... perhaps I could go on Embarrassing Campers and have Dr PIxie use her finger to diagnose th issue

Only kidding, I just wondered what range of compensation can be made, 3cm looks like a ot but I'll check with Brickwerks and the video link

best way to check is measure between hub nut and wheel arch. New set of springs won't set you back to much

wheel centre to arch
42.5cm on the nearside
42cm on the offside

diff 0.5cm

from floor to arch
72.5 on the nearside
70cm on the offside

diff 2.5cm

Does that still point to springs?

I know youve probably looked underneath but do you have a broken spring or two? MOT testers dont always spot this cos the pig tails on the rear springs are'nt that obvious and the ends of the front springs can be hidden.
2 of mine were broken when I looked closely. Got a set of four off E-Bay 40mm lower with matching shocks for about 235 its now nice and level not too low and rides realy well
