CamperJam - Syncronauts display
Syncronauts are putting on a display - static - at CamperJam this year.
A display is being crafted by Matt and Myles and a number of us have aggreed to have out pride and joys scrutineered by the paying public!
We have been allocated a camping area (12 van capacity) for those involved with the display.
At the moment there is about half a dozen signed up so if you would like to be involved let me know.
http://www.camperjam.co.uk/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Don't book your ticket before letting me know as you need to tick the right boxes to get the correct coloured camping pass!

Pm'd you Doug,
We've already got tickets in Family Camping - and I'd emailed Dave Eccles back in April about wanting to be in the Syncro Display at Camperjam. The boys are really looking forward to this

How's the take-up going for the display? Enough takers?
If...we're up and running would we get a "roughest roadworthy syncro" award

Re: CamperJam - Syncronauts display
I'd love to come along to this with my Kombi, but unfortunately I'm having a minor op on the 5th. so can't make it. Looks like it should be a good show.

Dave, with the six cylinder Oettinger 'velle, said he will try to make it if he gets it back from the garage in time<

Re: CamperJam - Syncronauts display
We want to, but cant commit until we see how the old girl goes over the weekend..
Re: CamperJam - Syncronauts display
OK...
For a whole host of reasons (some which we don't know yet) and despite originally agreeing to commit to CJ ages ago, starting negotiations nearly a month ago, we (Syncronauts Committee), have to unfortunately say... with respect to our arrangements to put on a bit of a static show and display
We don't know What In Hell Is Happening
Sorry!
It now looks like all they are going to make available is a chance of a pathetic lame 'line up' (sometime) on the Saturday...
If any of you have bought tickets just because we encouraged you or to contribute to a decent Syncro display (permanent for the event) then..
apologies!
We also have spent money time and trouble to make a bit of a splash for CJ, and have had it basically thrown back in our faces.
However, we are going still (having already bought the tickets (and paid the delivery charge - honestly
its not exactly Beyonce at O2, is it
)), but cannot say currently it is with good grace. Hopefully I'll have calmed down by next week
So, let's hope it turns out good fun and at least sociable...
Unfortunately, Doug's van has developed a serious problem, so won't be attending but I'm sure if we were going ahead with a good display of our vans & activities he'd cycle there if need be!
Sorry again, if you were misled
