Which way up for difflock actuator

Post by John Potter »

Hi,

Dumb question time....
stripped down the rear difflocak actuator some time ago and now I cant remember if the pipe outlets are at the top or the bottom. To add to my confusion the Vanagon manual seems to show the rear one pointing down but I found some pics on here of it pointing up !

Help appreciated.....

Thanks

John

Hi guys, thanks for that, plenty of choice there :) ........

I'm going with Aidan on this one, as the brarcket is a bit bent and seems to only fit properly (pin engagement) with the pipes down.
( Memo to self: Dont think that you'll remember all the fitings - take a photo, thats what phones are for !)

Cheers, John

PS Hope your wrist isn't too badly broken Aidan !
