hi,

been checking my oil today, and was justing wondering, what is the 'thing' next to it with the yellow cap on????? is it for water and anti-freeze? :oops:

expansion bottle for cooling system and yes it should contain water and anifreeze mixed to the correct ratio.
it`s a big round cage and there`s too many animals in it for my liking. To help address this ring lee on 07977 765818.

Sweetpea...you actually have two coolant bottles....the one you can see behind the number plate is just the expansion tank (overflow) and then the main 'pressurized ' tank (you will need to take your engine cover off to see this) on the left side on a petrol/watercooled engine.
The latter needs to be filled to the brim, 50/50 mix antifreeze/water, the one behind the number plate just to the max line under the filler cap, also 50/50 mix.
