Roof Rack for Westy Pop Top

Hi

I've just brought, from Gunzel, a set of the brackets to allow me to fit a roof rack to my Westy Pop Top, however there are no instuctions on the best place to fit them on the roof. Advice or photos showing where to fit would be appreciated.

work out what you want to carry up there. if its a surf board and you only need bars then it doesn`t really matter but if you want a roof box or roof crate then it`ll depend on the size of equipment you have / buy.

Just about to fit mine. I have a roof box but got my positioning ideas from this old thread of Jed's:

Thanks for the advice, van in for respray at the moment so will be able to get the brackets fitted at the same time.
