4 - 5 hours plus parts if they know what they are doing and have the tools, double that if they don't

Is it that long because it is a syncro ? My bloke does mine in under an hour.

yep syncro means removing the front upright in order to press out the old bearing and press in the new one then refit the whole shabang - that means undoing the steering tie rod, the antiroll bar link (with the possibilty of shearing it) and the radius rod if late type suspension or removing the lower balljoint holder and radius rod if early, upper and lower balljoints and driveshaft and brake flexi clip and brake caliper and disc, it's a bit of a job - if it's all been apart recently I reckon flat out about 3 hours - but if it hasn't been apart for a while then lots of plusgas, patience, maybe a bit of heat and you want to have spares of nuts and bolts and other fittings to hand in case anything doesn't go according to plan A

Thanks for the replys, longer than I was expecting but should have known better with it been a syncro related prob (as usual)
Oh well at least its all that needs doing and then I get the mot certificate
Think it might start to work out cheaper running another t25 as well then I could have a crack at it myself and take the upright to a mechanic for bench pressing it in but unfortunately its my main runner.
Cheers and thanks again.
