In January 2010 I came across a 1991 Syncro van that used to belong to our national broadcaster. I had seen it about but could never actually trace where it lived. I spoke with its owner in January who said I could have first refusal when it was time to sell it.



Well that day arrived yesterday and I went to see it again today. Its still rust free and has just had a service with a new water pump and alternator fitted to the AAZ and has covered 100,000 miles. I drove her today and was so disappointed. Crunches its way into 3rd, clutch vibrates like a good 'un on take off and the VC has failed closed so the prop was removed ......

I made an offer which was refused so I walked away ......

He has an offer of 2 grand on it from a guy who will drive it till it drops. I just hope Im in the right place when that happens as the body is soooo good!

Anyway if I bring any more vehicles home Ill be divorced ........ oh wait ...... Im not married
