sliding door seal

I have just fitted a new sliding door seal to an early (82) van, the seal has a flat section on one of the vertical sides but im not sure which side it should be on, the front edge or the rear. the seal that was fitted was in bits so I have nothing to go by. any pics would help cheers

Goes to the rear on mine
shouldnt need picks, the corners are moulded as near right angles so will only go 2 ways.
