Post by GAML »

Hello,
Anybody recommend where I should get a set of brake pads from?. For a 1987 DJ caravelle.

Thanks

Graham

VW heretage, europarts, Halfords, ...any motor factor really

it's not where you get them from it's the make of pads that's important.
If you look at the post at the top of the forum page you'll see the quality pad makers

Kev has hit the proverbial nail on the head....quality really matters especially with brakes:
And you aren't going to buy better than from an original brake manufacturer like ATE:

Also Brickwerks 'Jurid' brand are good quality although given the choice I'd go ATE, there isn't much in the price after postage is added.
