Re: EKTA 7
I tried to get etka 7.2 to work on windows 7 but failed both on my desktop and laptop. I now run it through the virtual console and everything is OK now.

On the windows 7 ultimate you have the option of running things in XP Mode, this allows you to run things from the start menu as though they are normal programs but they are actually run on a "virtual machine" running XP professional. If your computer will not run XP Mode then just install the virtual machine program from Microsoft and away you go.....
Xp Mode from Microsoft is available here

Useful info that. Mine runs automatically on both Vista and 7 Premium

Right click, properties, Compatability, run in compatability mode.
Re: EKTA 7
Trouble is I dont even haxe an ICON to click on. I can see the whole lot/program files sitting in explorer but have no "click" to get it working, lots of "xxxx.exe" but non of them seem to do anything???????????

Re: EKTA 7
Don't instal it, just copy the whole lot to your C drive.
In C, ETKA, Prog folder there should be a file called ETKA.exe.
Copy that to your desktop.
then, right click on it (when it's on your desk top) and properties, compatability, run in compatability of windows XP.
That's how i got this to work.
