Ardrossan to Brodick (Arran) ferry

Post by chiz »

I wonder if anybody is familiar with the car park or the near environs of the Calmac ferry port at Ardrossan We are going over to the island a week on Friday on the early sailing 7am and wondering where we could park up the night before. We will be arriving late and leaving early.

Any thoughts

not the quietest of spots as it's a working port but i'm sure you'll be ok, we stayed at a few of the smaller ports around arran last year with out problem.

If you are arriving late then try the car park at a bar bistro Cecchini's, Clyde Marina, Dock Road, Ardrossan, KA22 8DA put the postcode into google maps.
The bistro closes 1am ish and reopens 7am it's only 100 yds from the terminal.

Thanks for that I phoned the Calmac terminal today. They told me it is not a problem as the car park opposite is monitored 24 hours and just to park.

Happy holidays

Arran is beautiful
Seal Shore is a brilliant site
Go on the tour and have a free sample or 2 of single malt whisky from the Arran distillery

Happy holiday
