thinking of getting a solar panel

Anyone got any advise please on min sizes etc? Im thinking of something that will charge the leisure battery when wild camping.

The size will be dictated by your power needs.

Work out what you might use in watt hours.

e.g. 5 hours of a 10w lamp = 50w/hours
etc etc

Add it all up for 24 hours of use.

Next, divide by the number of decent daylight hours.

Next, multiply by two to allow for overcast.

And multiply a little more (e.g. 1.5) to allow for not having the panel angled directly at the sun, assuming you aren't going to be clever with your mounting.

Now you know the wattage you want. Investigate from there.
