Can these be retro fitted and does anyone have any available?
My early syncro didnt have these and as I'm freshening up the linkage with new bushes and rubbers ect, it will keep them from wearing out quite so quickly.

Our early syncro hasn't got them either Rob, I wasn't going to bother trying to find any. I really can't see what use it serves IMHO as it's not airtight, so will fill up with slurry like everything else does.

I had to adjust the linkage recently and although the protection made it awkward to get to the union (if that's what it is called) was like new still.

I think I'll get one if I can as I think they were added to later ones for a reason.

I have one on mine { 92 mv } isn't very substantial{ plastic }!! should be no prob to fabricate one from from a suitable length of pipe and several cable ties ???
