Re: what panel carpet do you use and where from?
Funnily enough, I had a conversation with a chap at Megavanmats only yesterday about the very same thing. I was advised that I'd be needing around 10/11sq m of carpet to do my van [6 for the upper areas, window frames, & roof lining over the bed and 4 or so metres for the lower sides and seat boxes] Here's a link to his eBay site, where samples of the various carpets can be requested too.

I hope that helps you!

Also check these folks out.

I did my van with carpet from them last year. It's very good quality stuff. They also do adhesives and panel clips etc..

Re: what panel carpet do you use and where from?
Hi,
I have just done mine with the megavan mats 'mega stretch carpet', its really easy to use and i went for their package deal for around £120, should be enough to do a whole van and you get all the glue, got some pictures on my blog: http://www.vwt25blag.co.uk, i have more pictures of the inside to add which i will try to do this evening.
Be prepared to ruin a few pair of scissors though... it blunts them and blades really quickly.

Re: what panel carpet do you use and where from?
Literally just finished carpeting all my panels over the past 2 days. I got United Carpets to lay new lino in on the floor and spied a 4m x 3m piece of grey carpet which is very similar to my headlining. I asked how much and they gave it to me for £20 with 4 free cans of carpet glue.
I've taken the panels out and used the old one's as a template on 6mm ply. This was a bit too thick to reverted back to the original panels with the old trim removed. Glued the carpet down, cut it out and popped them on. Due to cupboards I've done the sliding door, tail gate, front door cards and the battery covers. It looks mint. Neighbour who loves his classic cars popped over an asked how much I'd paid to get them fitted. When I told him I'd done them myself he was shocked.
I just took my time and was careful. Got through a few stanley blades and only needed 3 cans of the glue.
