I'm in the process of doing my van at long last and it's got, or rather, had, a manufacturers conversion plaque on the tailgate.
I didn't want to try and mask it because the vans already had a -poor- respray on the bottom half anyway so its got paint on the edges and it was stained and generally tired looking anyway. [Richard Holdsworth, address& phone number BTW]
So I've designed a couple of would-be replacements that I can email off to the local sign makers and get them to run a couple off. I could perhaps do some smaller ones to go somewhere on the lower front part of the doors perhaps. The red one was done as a transparency, i.e just letters/number whereas the 2nd one was done on a white canvas though it will be produced as the first one..
I'd appreciate any thoughts on how they look to you and suggestions, etc...
New tailgate decal design, what do you think?

Have you tried superimposing them onto a picture of your van?

No, but I did cut the larger one of the two out and stuck it on with sellotape and actually, it looked nice. I'll have to fine-tune the actual size but will wait until its all painted and refitted and they can be the finishing touch.

Nice one, both look great by the way. I am sure you will be happy with which ever one you pick.
