Valve clearances for CT engine

Post by ju »

Hi, have tried to find out on Wiki what the valve clearances should be on a 1.6 CT engine, but couldn't find anything. Can anyone help me out here. Also not sure at which point on an electronic ignition dizzy is the start of the cylinder stroke. Any info greatly appreciated. Thanks, Ju

They should be hydraulic and require no servicing unless faulty.
A basic setting can be carried out on them when work has been carried out, this proceedure is found in the Haynes manual.
