Change manual to auto ?

Hi I'm looking for air cooled 2 L Westy poptop Auto if I got a manual how tricky is this to change the bit that worries me is the kick down on the gas pedal haves any one done this

you'll need everything off an auto van to do the conversion, might as well buy an auto van, though they aren't common, especially the early 2.0 litre ones, saying that there's probably 5 for sale on ebay as I type :D

Unless you need auto for licence or medical reasons I'd stay manual, far easier to get parts for and maintain going forward, especially for Aircooled T3s
