is there a 'step' in the cylinder head machining that the seal sits on or is this an old seal that needs to come out. I cant for the life of me shift it, it looks permenent.

The focus isnt very clear on my computer but there is a soft metal gasket
that fits between the head and the liners. It looks like ures is still in the head. This needs to be replaced.
