cleaning diesel fuel filter

I have the later kind, do i have to remove the hole thing, meaning undoing hose conections ect, or does in unscrew from the cap?

It's a throw away filter just replace the whole canister.

pull out the clip on the left with pliers undo the two jubilee clips and pull the pipes off, then loosen the big jubillee clip holding the filter and pull it out. Fill the replacement with diesel before you fit it so you dont starve the engine of fuel.
