Another day another bus.

Post by jimpainter »

Spoke to a dean (riffboy) a few weeks ago about needing a small bit of welding needing doing. This is how i got on today. :ok

Image
One crispy seatbelt mount.

Image
This was underneath

Image
After a little cleaning this hole started to appear.

Image
I removed the arch panel and the mount underneath just came away.

Image
Cut and cleaned ready for repair.

Image
Repair panel made and fitted.

Image Wheelarch panel made made up

Image
And fitted

Image
Crispy O/S step, forgot to take pics of the repair.

Image
N/S step crusty as well

Image
Cut out

Image
And repair fitted. We did away with the holes for the rubbers as he didnt need it original and the holes just seem to be another part that is rust prone.

Not a bad days work.
