I'm in the process of acquiring a leisure batt for my van.
I know the conventional place to store this is under the passenger seat however I'm contemplating under the rock and roll as an alternative.
I cannot see any probs with this. Have I missed any obvious flaws?

The batt I've just bought will not go by the passenger seat so I'm tied to my choice at this point.

Just remember the battery should be vented as it produces hydrogen gas when charging, this could be a small drop pipe (not much bigger than screen washer pipe)
