hey,
I was just looking online how to change an oil filter on my van and it says I need to fill the filter with something called Quantum 15-40 from GSF...I have absolutely no idea what this is, can someone fill me in? or fill my filter in for me, and maybe do the whole thing for me? +D
cheers!!
James.

Could you put that in your profile then please, in the Location field - thanks...
Always a good idea to fill the filter up as much as poss before fitting it. Up to the point where the installation angle means it will spill out before you get it screwed back on properly (hand tight, but dry not oily slippy hand tight!) - so fill a horiz mounted one about 1/2 full, the diesels you can almost fill right up. Not just so can get back off, but to make sure it tightens by hand properly and doesn't leak - all engines I think.
