Bottom ball joinst from GSF

Post by LUKE 28 »

Hi all just wondering if anyone else has bought bottom ball joints for an 82 wedge from gsf ? I bought some got them home compared it to thre one that came off and to look at they were identical, until we tried to fit it! they seem to be a few mls do big! som long story short we had to machine 2 mls off the new one to get it on. Anyone else had this ? :!:

Not sure if machining them is the way to go.Did you have to machine the splines off.

Not with early ball joints but their engine mounts had 'issues' a couple of years ago .... i.e. they didn't fit  Also the electrical sensors leave much to be desired.
