Platic/Acrylic windows

Post by yodster »

Really need to know the best way to make/get a new pair of side windows for the high top on my komet. They are the rounded type that can either slide open or are hinged. I have been looking everywhere for a year and no one has any! One company quoted me £2000 to get ONE made. any clever ideas anyone? Flapping bin bag sound covering the hole is beginning to turn me crazy plus it looks gash!

Not much chance of getting these. Are both missing/knackered? The Komet high top is double skinned but as a temporay measure you could fit a piece of perspex cut to shape with some window rubber manhandled into the outer skin and folded into the gap between skins. Hardly ideal but it has to be better than a plastic bag....

I have the opening variety - didn't know they did sliding versions
