changing fuel filter

hi all, just quick one and might seem daft but how do i change fuel filter without it p**sing all over me and loosing all me petrol cheers in advance

I use a hose clamp but you could also insert a 6mm bolt into the fuel pipe from the tank, fit the new filter into the engine side of the fuel line and then quickly swap the bolt for the filter. You'll notice there's an arrow on the filter as well ... pointing towards the carb in the direction of flow.
