Anyone put their pop-top through a car wash ?

Where you go, where you stay and everything to do with getting there and back.

Anyone put their pop-top through a car wash ?

Post by ringo »

My wife would like to know.

She wouldn't be so interested if i wasn't always fishing/drinking and actually washed our awesome van!

I imagine the only issue is size. Will it fit in ? Who has been brave/lazy enough to find out!

Thanks in advance

Ringo

PS. Abuse welcome too - im asking for it really!

I put my tintop through the car was and it was tight on height and width. The height limit on a lot of them is 2.0 metres and a tin top is around about 1.9. Having said that is your pop top slightly higher, also my tailgate leaked which was not good.

You can find taller car washes though. There is one near me that I could take my landrover through with a + 2 inch lift.

Washing by hand will give you an earlier indication of the cancer that comes to them all

there are plenty of these hand washing places about now it seems. just take some stepladders for them

Mark, Hmm, you have a T25 and a landy ? So do i.

Your not ginger by any chance ? I always felt as a child i had missing twin!

Not allowed to wash the landy (hee hee) - the missus likes it dirty (which it gets quite a lot of). (Hee hee).

Horza - Your so charitable!
