Westy fridge service..

Post by TommyB260971 »

Hi,
Does anyone know where I can find out how to service my fridge? I have removed it, cleaned the jet and ignitor but I remember reading somewhere about turning it upside down for a while???
I have checked Wiki but it's not on there.
Anybody help?
Cheers

You only need to turn them upside down if it is functioning but low performance. Usually after having been unused for a couple of years. ie if it doesn't cool on 230v it is worth doing.
Turn upside down and leave for 24hrs. then turn right way up and leave for 24hrs.again. What this does is it re-mixes the coolant solution. Then try her again.
