Fuel gauge problem?

Post by sooper8 »

Hi All,

Only a member for a few weeks and only had the T25 less than a month so forgive me if my question sounds a bit dumb, or if I have posted in the wrong part of the forum.

Anyway...yesterday, 2 miles in to a journey a strange noise came from behind the instrument panel (now, being pretty new to this, I mean strange as in 'it hasn't happened before in the previous 300 miles)
A kind of whirring noise, maybe 30 seconds then stopped.

Didn't think too much of it.

After doing about 60 miles I am pretty sure the fuel gauge hasn't budged at all (and it was previously working)

Could these 2 things be linked? And for a novice would you advise taking a look? Could it be a relatively simple thing to fix? Should I wait and see if it fixes itself? Any thoughts?

Thanks in advance

Jem
