Campsite North Yorkshire-ish open early March

Post by Silky »

Hi,
a bit of a last minute request but we're intending to travel to Durham tomorrow (a family duty-visit) and are hoping to combine this with our first overnighter in our van.

Does anyone know of a campsite somewhere mid way between Durham and Manchester - Harrogate area seems fairly central - that's likely to be open this time of year? Anything considered, it's only for the one night.

Hi

Can you personally recommend a campsite in Hawes? went there a few years ago and really liked it but was staying in B&B's back then

Brown moor is closest, but a little sterile. I prefer the one next door to the green dragon pub in hardraw, just the other side of the river... Clean amenities, but no fixed pitches etc...
