Lower ball joint - advice/direction

Hello all, I hope you're well.

As my summer prep work continues I am soon to set about replacing both lower ball joints....

I drive a 1980 2.0 Petrol RHD, not syncro.

I'm basically looking for tips, tricks, list of tools etc for the job - I've looked at the wiki and ran searches but can't find much about them, at least not for my type of van - is it really that simple of a job?
