Carb .....

Post by blu trukkie »

I have a need to change the 2E Pierburg carb on my van due to a fire. I have another 2E to put back on. My question is, the replacement does not have a tank return spigot, so I now wont have that facility. Will that effect anything, and is it just a matter of blocking off the return pipe to make it safe. ???

Thanks .......... (and no, I dont want a Weber ).

Are you sure the carb is from a t25?
Reason I ask is t25 2e3's all had returns so it would make me wonder if it was from another car the jetting would be wrong.

Not all did, some models had a separate bubble separator with the return from there.
