Permission to camp
Has anyone here any success asking an owner of private land (farmer, lord of the manor etc) if you could park the van for a night - or two ?

Re: Permission to camp
Ive asked several farmers over last few years and never had one say no yet. I even had one invite me and my two kids to breakfast in their house - well rustic! I always offer to sweep up/do a chore or two though. Ive always carried a supply of thank you cards for this very purpose.....
