The enterprise was a T25 conversion by a company called Beckenham motor caravans there location was not far from croydon Surrey. In the 1980s- 90s i was working in Banstead Surrey and in my lunch hour i used to call in on the occasion for interior fittings and carpet linings for a T2 bay window i was converting to a camper.Whilst at there workshops there was a couple of T25s being fitted out with a body kit&interior. The owner and mechanics where friendly&chatty i asked them questions about the materials being used for this T25 conversion called the enterprise. They also did work fitting high tops so had them fit a low line sheldon high top to the T2 bay i converted.Sadly like a lot of small outfits in the late 1990s the company dissapeared.Regarding the enterprise i thought it was a heavy conversion and used extra mouldings on the bodywork.

Thanks for this. I bought an enterprise van last year. Couldn't find any info on them. Armed with this knowledge, I wonder if I can convince my insurance company that it wasn't a DIY home conversion.
If it ain't broke... take it apart , that should do the trick!

As i said the enterprise was a conversion by this company called Beckenham motor caravans. There workshop was between Croydon & Sydanham South London. It was based around a factory made moulded body kit & interior seating /beds fridge and cooker. When i talked to the owner and fitters at the Beckenham workshop in the 80s Sheldon that make high tops had some think to do supplying the moulded body parts for the enterprise model. It is not a conversion for a DIY at home as i recall the owner said it came as a complete package with Zig unit electrics installed and gas pipes for the oven. Also there was reinforced anguler frame welded in where the roof was cut for the high top .
