Best standard height suspension setup?

I'm fed up with the harsh ride on the JK 40mm-lowered kit (which I've had for 4 years). Every bump in Bristol's crappy roads hurts Mrs Pootle's back. I'm going back to standard height.

What is the best standard height setup? The van is a daily drive round town plus a 2000 mile annual road trip on the motorways. I don't want adjustables.
